Stephon Castle throws down the dunk of the playoffs in Game 2 of Spurs-Thunder

For all that’s made about Victor Wembanyama, it’s worth remembering he isn’t the only physical freak on the San Antonio Spurs.

Spurs guard Stephon Castle whipped out the dunk of the playoffs in the second quarter of Game 2 against the Thunder, entering an occupied paint and taking flight over multiple defenders.

Thunder big man Isaiah Hartenstein might remember this one for a while. Especially if he checks social media after the game.

It doesn’t get any less ridiculous from the above-rim angle.

If that dunk has any competition, it might be the poster from Orlando Magic forward Jamal Cain in the first round. However, given the context of Castle’s in a clash between perhaps the two best teams in the NBA, we’re going to give the title to this one.

The former No. 4 pick has looked like the perfect co-star alongside Wembanyama in their first playoffs together, averaging 19.7 points, 6.5 assists and 5.0 rebounds in 12 postseason games. He’s been the team’s best perimeter defender as well, not to mention a leader at only 21 years old.
